Computing and Information Technology at SUNY Geneseo seeks to hire a Network Analyst to join our Network team. The network analyst provides support and maintains the Cisco Telephony, campus wired and wireless network, and various security devices.
Summary of Responsibilities
- Provide support and administration for campus wired and wireless networking.
- Supporting network switching and routing.
- Provide support and administration for FortiGate firewalls and other security technology.
- Installation and administration of Cisco telephony services.
- Supporting Microsoft 365 collaboration and Cisco Webex.
- Manage security of supported services.
- Provide integration between supported services.
- Provide customer support for services.
- Learn and improve skills related to supported services and operating systems including Cisco IOS, GitHub, JIRA, and others.
Salary : $64,000 – $70,000 commensurate with experience.

The Network Analyst works independently under the direction of the director. The director routinely meets 1 : 1 to provide guidance and direction for their work. Supervision Exercised The Network Analyst will take a leadership role in managing projects and small teams of colleagues.
