Job Summary:
The Licensed Practical Nurse plays a vital role in our healthcare team, providing efficient and effective nursing care that achieves positive clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN).
Main Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients/residents to collect data, observe condition and report changes in condition.
- Contribute to comprehensive nursing assessments and care planning.
- Administer medications and perform treatments per physician orders.
- Supervise and monitor patient care provided by unlicensed staff members.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an approved school for practical or vocational nursing.
- Currently licensed by the State Board of Nursing or pending licensed practical nurse licensure.
- Maintain current BLS/CPR certification if employed at a skilled nursing center or as required by the state of practice if an assisted living facility.
