Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients/residents to collect relevant data, observe their condition, and report any changes in their condition.
- Contribute to comprehensive nursing assessments and care planning processes.
- Administer medications and perform treatments as per physician orders.
- Supervise and monitor patient care provided by unlicensed staff members.
Qualifications
- Candidates must be graduates of an approved school for practical or vocational nursing.
- Must be currently licensed by the State Board of Nursing or pending licensure as a licensed practical nurse.
- Must maintain current BLS/CPR certification if employed at a skilled nursing center or as required by the state of practice if working in an assisted living facility.
