We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Leader in Skin Integrity to join our team at Genesis Administrative Services LLC.
About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to develop and implement a comprehensive Skin Health and Wound management program, collaborating with nursing center management to ensure seamless integration of skin, wound, and incontinent products in central supply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive Skin Health and Wound management program.
- Collaborate with nursing center management to ensure seamless integration of skin, wound, and incontinent products in central supply.
- Oversee durable medical equipment to prevent and manage wounds effectively.
Requirements:
- Registered nurse license (MPT/DPT with leadership review/approval) required.
- Complete Skin Health Team Lead orientation training and Wound Basics within 90 days of hire.
- A commitment to monthly support calls is essential.
- National accredited wound certification (CWS, CWCN, WCC, CWON, WOC, AWCC) or completion of Advanced Wound Training and national accredited Wound Certification within 1 year of hire is required.
- Clinical charting, incident reporting, and investigation response experience required.
- Strong knowledge base of acceptable standards of care for nurses, providers, therapists, dietitians, and others on the nursing center team.
- Team building experience and respect for interprofessional team in wound management.
- Knowledge of national wound guidelines and wound products.
- Knowledge of nursing home regulations and survey process.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills.
