Infection Preventionist Role
The Infection Preventionist is responsible for our Infection Prevention and Control Program (IPCP) and works across multiple locations on infection prevention, control activities, surveillance, outbreak management, and employee health.
- Provide infection prevention and control training to new hires.
- Create education programs in response to identified infection control needs.
- Develop, implement, and maintain the IPCP to ensure quality patient care.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must:
- Be a registered nurse with current licensure by the State Board of Nursing.
- Have a minimum of three years' full-time nursing experience.
- Complete specialized training in infection prevention and control within 90 days of hire.
