Job Summary
This role involves leading and integrating a fully developed Skin Health and Wound management program in collaboration with nursing center management. The successful candidate will support central supply, serving as the clinical expert for skin, wound, and incontinent products. Additionally, they will oversee durable medical equipment related to the prevention and management of wounds.
Responsibilities

- Support central supply serving as the clinical expert for skin, wound, and incontinent products.
- Oversee durable medical equipment related to the prevention and management of wounds.
Qualifications
- RN license (MPT/DPT with leadership review/approval) required.
- Must complete Skin Health Team Lead orientation training and Wound Basics within 90 days of hire.
- Commitment to attend monthly support calls is required.
- National accredited wound certification (CWS, CWCN, WCC, CWON, WOC, AWCC) or be committed to complete Advanced Wound Training and national accredited Wound Certification within 1 year of hire.
- Knowledge and experience with clinical charting, incident reporting, and investigation response required.
- Strong knowledge base of acceptable standards of care for nurses, providers, therapists, dietitians, and others on the nursing center team.
- Experience in team building and demonstrating respect for the interprofessional team in wound management required.
- Knowledge of national wound guidelines and wound products.
- Knowledge of nursing home regulations and survey process required.
- Strong Microsoft Word, Excel, Database Management, PowerPoint skills required.
