As a Mechanical Designer, you will be responsible for contributing to and supporting a team of Engineers and Designers to deliver high-quality designs for technically challenging and rewarding projects. We expose our designers to a variety of complex projects, arming them with the experience, resources, and support to succeed. As a mid-market firm with a close-knit culture, we focus on the delivery of high-quality engineering and design services for notable industry-leading clients in the Life Sciences, Biotech, and Pharmaceutical industries.

As a Mechanical Designer, you will be responsible for contributing to and supporting a team of Engineers and Designers to deliver high-quality designs for technically challenging and rewarding projects. We expose our designers to a variety of complex projects, arming them with the experience, resources, and support to succeed. As a mid-market firm with a close-knit culture, we focus on the delivery of high-quality engineering and design services for notable industry-leading clients in the Life Sciences, Biotech, and Pharmaceutical industries.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
- Typical responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Performing Field Surveys
- Develop Conceptual Designs and layouts with the support of an engineer for the following:
- Ductwork Distribution Systems
- Piping Distribution Systems
- Airflow and Piping Diagrams
- Pressurization Plans
- General Equipment Arrangement Plans
- Development of Details, Schedules, Sections, and Elevations
- Coordinating with other Discipline Engineers, Architects, and Contractors.
- Review Ductwork and Piping Shop Drawings.
Minimum Qualifications
- An Associate's degree or relevant Technical Program completion is highly preferred.
- Successful candidates will be proficient with the latest version of REVIT 3D, BIM 360, and AutoCAD.
- Relevant experience in laboratories, pharmaceutical and healthcare facilities, and data centers are highly desirable.
- 1-5 Years experience.
- Strong oral and written communication skills
