Key Responsibilities
- Perform structural analysis and design for buildings, bridges, and other structures
- Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and drafters
- Coordinate with architects and contractors to ensure structural integrity and compliance with design specifications
- Develop and review construction drawings and specifications
- Conduct site visits and assessments to verify structural integrity and resolve any issues
- Participate in project meetings and provide input on design and construction planning
- Utilize engineering software and tools for design and analysis
- Prepare technical reports and documentation
- Ensure compliance with building codes and regulations
- Manage project budgets and timelines
- Conduct feasibility studies for new construction projects
