Summary
We are seeking a Assistant Behavioral Consultant to join our team at Genesis Behavior Center, Inc. As a Assistant Behavioral Consultant, you will play a vital role in assessing and developing individualized behavior intervention programs for children with autism, ensuring they receive the support needed to thrive.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations for children with Autism Spectrum Disorders.
- Develop individualized behavior intervention plans based on assessment results and best practices in Applied Behavior Analysis.
- Implement therapeutic interventions using Discrete Trials Training (DTT), Natural Environment Training (NET), and Verbal Behavior procedures.
- Monitor and evaluate client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to meet each child's unique needs.
- Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to provide integrated support for clients.
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure confidentiality of client information.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field preferred.
- Experience working with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorders or developmental disabilities.
- Strong skills in patient assessment and diagnostic evaluation techniques.
- Knowledge of behavioral therapy principles and Applied Behavior Analysis methods.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with families and interdisciplinary teams.
