What A Typical Day Is Like:
Work one-on-one with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder or with children who exhibit other special need challenges in a fun and playful setting. We help kids close the gap by teaching them: communication skills, social/play skills, fine/gross motor skills, safety skills, self-help skills, behavioral/adaptive daily living skills, and self-regulation/personal copping strategies. We also focus on teaching behavioral management and effective ways for children to meet their needs.
What We're Looking For:
ABA experience and education are not required but encouraged
Energetic, patient, and dedicated individuals with a passion for helping others
Ability to remain organized while working creatively with kids
Ability to drive to/between client homes (Most therapists are matched with kids within a 5-20-mile range of their home.)
High School Diploma Required
Pay Rate: $20.00
You will be mentored by professionals in the ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis)
