Job Overview:
The Operations Coordinator will play a key role in supporting the daily operations of a security or protective services team. This individual will work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth, efficient, and secure operations. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, and a keen ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
· Coordinate and manage the logistics for security and protection operations, including scheduling, staffing, and resource allocation.
· Assist in the planning, implementation, and execution of security protocols and operations.
· Monitor and track operational performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
· Liaise between security personnel, management, and external stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and operations.
· Conduct risk assessments and assist in the development of emergency response plans and procedures.
· Ensure compliance with all legal, safety, and regulatory requirements in the execution of security operations.
· Support the recruitment and onboarding of new security team members.
· Manage inventory of security equipment and supplies, ensuring all resources are maintained and operational.
· Prepare and maintain reports on security operations, incidents, and performance metrics.
· Provide administrative support to senior management, including scheduling meetings, preparing documents, and assisting with operational planning.
· Collaborate with law enforcement and other security agencies as needed to ensure safety and security during high-risk operations or events.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
· 2 years of experience in operations, security, or a related field.
· Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
· Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
· Proficiency with MS Office and other operational software.
· Knowledge of safety, security, and emergency protocols.
· Ability to maintain discretion and handle confidential information appropriately.
· Ability to pass background checks and security clearances (if applicable).
Preferred Skills:
· Experience working with law enforcement, security, or protective services teams.
· Familiarity with risk management and crisis response procedures.
· First Aid/CPR certification (preferred).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $54,000.00 - $101,000.00 per year
