What are the responsibilities and job description for the VP, Lending Team Manager position at Genesis Capital LLC?
Genesis Capital (the "Company") is one of the largest business purpose lenders in the country, focused on providing commercial real estate financing solutions to real estate developers who buy, renovate, and sell single-family and / or multi-family residential real estate. The Company is a subsidiary of Rithm Capital (parent company), a publicly traded mortgage real estate investment trust.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS include the following.
- Interface directly with senior leaders within Underwriting, Valuations, Construction, Legal and Operations as an escalation point to identify solutions and clear bottlenecks.
- Run both scheduled and ad-hoc "deal-scrub" for initial loan and client opportunity review and adherence to Front End Guidance and Lending Policy.
- Assist Lending Team Lead with oversight of RM portfolio management activities and point of escalation for the team.
- Assist Lending Team Lead in running weekly RM Team meetings to monitor team progress toward monthly production goals and help troubleshoot loans which hit production roadblocks.
- Provide consolidated RM production projections regularly to Chief Lending Officer.
- Assist CLO and Business Development teams in monitoring client level business plans and meet with customers on an as needed basis.
- Perform other functions and assist with other projects as assigned by Chief Lending Officer.
- Other duties may be assigned.
