Uniface Developer

As an Application Developer, will be responsible for designing, building, and configuring applications to meet business process and application requirements. You will play a crucial role in developing innovative solutions and ensuring the smooth functioning of applications.
Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
• Responsible for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Design, build, and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze user requirements.
• Develop and implement software solutions using the Uniface programming language.
• Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications to identify and resolve issues.
• Conduct system testing and assist in user acceptance testing.
• Ensure the security and integrity of applications by implementing appropriate measures.
• Document technical specifications and user manuals for reference purposes.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies related to application development.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and suggest process enhancements.

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must have Skills: Proficiency in Uniface.
• Experience in designing, building, and configuring applications.
• Strong knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
• Familiarity with relational databases and SQL.
• Good To Have Skills:Experience with web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Knowledge of version control systems such as Git.
• Experience in integrating applications with third-party APIs.
• Understanding of software testing principles and techniques.

Additional Information

• This is a hybrid role in Cleveland, Ohio, 3 days a week.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
