IT Project Manager

Genesis10 is currently seeking an IT Project Manager with our client in the financial industry located in Pennington, NJ. This is a 12 month contract position.Responsibilities : Lead project work group meetings and own regular status communications to stakeholdersInteract with a wide variety of stakeholders including senior business partnersEnsure all project deliverables are managed on time and with high qualityCoordinate and facilitate routines to support delivery (for example, kick-offs, status reviews, stakeholder meetings, change controls, tollgates, and so on)Plan and coordinate delivery and dependencies across multiple teamsFacilitate dependency management / risk management / impediment removal against deliverablesPromote / facilitate communication and collaboration across organizations to support the deliverable completion and timelineGather / facilitate status updates for the deliverables to stakeholders and leadership pertaining to delivery, risks / issues, and scheduleEnsure that execution is aligned with deliverable requirements by working with stakeholdersEnsure deliverables comply with Enterprise Change Management standardsConduct Release Readiness reviews, Milestone Reviews, and Business Go / No-Go reviewsCommunicate release details and schedules to the Business as requiredProject status oversight & reporting on delays / risks / issues across priorities such as MRA2 and SDMData quality support, such as reviewing reports and partnering with project managers on timely correctionsPortfolio / Program oversight and regular required updates such as tangible business outcomes and metricsQuality assurance reviews and auditsRequirements : 10 years of all aspects of end-to-end project management experience including process improvement / re-engineering in the Agile project methodology for both process only and / or technology change effortsPassionate project manager who enjoys working on technology projects and being part of a skill group with like-minded agile professionalsStrongly proficient using Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, SharePoint, JIRAStrong PowerPoint presentation skills and ability to target messaging to different audiencesExperience with managing a large, complex group of stakeholders and ability to communicate effectively and influence decisions to achieve desired resultsStrong decision making skills with an assertive and proactive communication styleExcellent communication skills (verbal, written and presentation) and active listening skillsProficient in data management to include strong data analytic capabilityExcellent organizational skills and be able to handle multiple tasks to meet extremely compressed deadlinesEnthusiastic, energetic, determined and positive - especially under pressureAbility to navigate enterprise, research and resource informationCritical thinker and risk-mindedDesired skills : Experience supporting and participating in technology change efforts in project manager roleProficient in data management to include strong data analytic capabilityProficient in understanding technology and data management5 years of project management experience with a complete understanding of the key principles and frameworks of Project Management and Process DevelopmentProject Management Professional CertifiedOnly candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.If you have the described qualifications and are interested in this exciting opportunity, please apply!About Genesis10 : Ranked a Top Staffing Firm in the U.S. by Staffing Industry Analysts for six consecutive years, Genesis10 puts thousands of consultants and employees to work across the United States every year in contract, contract-for-hire, and permanent placement roles.
