Key Duties:
- Operate/monitors the loading of trucks and railcars, which includes recording weights, filling out checklists, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Work with NaHS Operators, Plant Management, Plant Maintenance, and Truck Drivers on a daily basis.
- Operate with safety as the highest priority; comply with all company safety policies (i.e. LOTO, confined space entry, wearing PPE).
- Monitor rotating equipment, piping and instrumentation for irregularities.
- Maintain all work areas in a neat and clean manner.
- Participate in all plant safety meetings; report any identified hazards, assist in mitigating any emergency situations.
- Support the Operator running the NaHS skid and associated equipment.
- Take Operational readings, as required.
- Maintain filtration system as needed, if applicable.
- Assist in sampling product as necessary for analysis; conduct any in-process analysis required; assist in monitoring/observing equipment and instrument operation; report any deficiencies.
- Perform other duties as requested.
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to develop chemical plant skills
- Attention to detail and patience
- Must demonstrate integrity, consistency, conscientiousness, and ability to effectively work with others
- Have basic understanding of using a computer and familiarity with both Microsoft Word (documents) and Excel (spreadsheets).
- Trained/certified in HAZWOPER, if new, obtain training/certification within the timeframe required by the company.
- Knowledge of Emergency Response, OSHA, EPA, RCRA and DOT regulations.
