Key Responsibilities:
Demonstrate Safety as the number one prioritySafety and Environmental support and optimizationMOC processProcess/product improvement and developmentPlant engineer and process support Improvement programISO certification on plant measurement systemsTechnical trainingProject documentation including control narrativesProcess troubleshooting and executionWater management
Activities:
Assist with technical and economic evaluations of alternative processes, additives, etc.Assist with process safety, ergonomics, OSHA, MSHA, ISO 9001, environmental agencies, applicable codes, and regulatory agenciesAssist in implementing CAR's and PAR'sEnsure projects comply with Corporate Operating StandardsInvestigate/resolve customer complaints at plant levelIdentify, troubleshoot, and develop process control mechanismsExecute projects in support of capital plan including project leadershipTrack/optimize process additivesTrain/teach operators about new processes and process improvementsParticipate in site hazard reviewsAssist in generation of plant efficiency reportsSupport/lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA)Monitor Safety and Environmental Compliance
Required Skills and Experience:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited 4-year college or university in Chemical Engineering or related engineering fieldIntermediate MS Office skillsAbility to fit test for required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Preferred Skills and Experience:
Chemical Engineering experience, including internships, in a heavy manufacturing or chemical processing industryERP experience, with SAP and/or OracleOSIsoft PI experience
