Front Desk Agent
Job Summary : A Front Desk agent is responsible for checking hotel guests in and out of their rooms and ensures customers have a satisfying and enjoyable stay.
Essential Functions :
- Greets guests, check guests in and out of their rooms.
- Ensures that every guest has an enjoyable experience at the hotel.
- Answer guest inquires including recommending activities and restaurants.
- Maintain safety of guest's luggage when houseman is not available.
- Manage online and phone reservations.
- Manage updated records of bookings and payments.
- Obtain guests contact details and stay dates.
- Process all payments and verify credit card data.
- Provide information about hotel, available rooms, rates, amenities, and payment options.
- Responds to guests' complaints in a professional and timely manner.
- Liaise with our housekeeping staff to ensure all rooms are clean, tidy and fully-furnished to accommodate guests' needs.
- Confirm group reservations and arrange personalized services for VIP customers and event attendees, like wedding guests.
- Upsell additional facilities and services when appropriate.
