Our client is looking for an Assistant News Director to join their experienced team of managers to help lead a team of hungry, creative journalists. You’ll be responsible for setting the daily editorial strategy and working with broadcast and digital producers to execute that strategy across several platforms, including Madison’s most popular news website. Do you love holding the powerful accountable? In this role, you’ll also help lead the station's award-winning investigative and special projects team. You will help with budgets, help recruit new talent and coach and train both veteran and emerging journalists. All of this while working for a company that values YOUR time away from work.
