What are the responsibilities and job description for the Genesis Health Clubs is hiring: Junior Web Developer In House in Wichita position at Genesis Health Clubs?
This position will be responsible for assisting the Senior developer(s) in creating, implementing, and maintaining web sites and web applications. This position is at the corporate office and on premises only.
Technical Skills Desired, but not all required :
- Actively seek new programming knowledge
- Build products using HTML / CSS / JS / PHP and other front-end technologies
- Code and deploy applications in a cross-platform, cross-browser environment
- Document project build and maintenance
- Create prototypes and wireframes during the initial phase of development
- Experience building user interfaces and prototypes from wireframes and designs
- Familiar with development and debugging tools
- Follow and implement industry-accepted best practices and tools
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP)
- Update current sites to meet modern standards
- Knowledge of using MS-SQL, MySql in web development
- Experience working with JSON, SOAP, AJAX, REST-APIs
- Experience setting up web servers on both Linux and Windows platforms
- Experience using version control / GIT
