What are the responsibilities and job description for the Occupational Therapy Assistant Student Program position at Genesis Healthcare Services?

As a representative of our Occupational Therapy team, you will work closely with patients, families, and caregivers to develop programs and activities consistent with each patient's needs and capabilities.
The Occupational Therapy Assistant student implements patient-centered treatment plans established by primary Occupational Therapists. You will provide individualized Occupational therapy interventions, including application of therapeutic techniques, under the supervision of an experienced Clinical Instructor.
Responsibilities include implementing patient care, participating in staffing conferences and other required meetings as a representative of Occupational therapy, and maintaining accurate documentation of services provided. Additionally, you will clean, maintain, identify, and report equipment needs to ensure optimal patient care.
