About the Position
We are seeking a talented Surgical Technologist to join our team in General Surgery. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our medical center.
Responsibilities
- Assist surgeons and other medical professionals in the operating room.
- Prepare equipment and maintain sterility.
- Contribute to a positive and respectful work environment.
Qualifications
- Candidate must be a graduate of an accredited surgical technology program.
- Must possess excellent critical thinking skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
- BLS certification is required, while CST certification is preferred but not necessary.
Schedule Information
- 40 hours/week, five (5) 8-hour shifts (6a - 2:30p).
- Surg Tech will take at least 2-3 days of call per week (dependent on staffing levels at the time).
- Weekend call starts at the time your shift ends on Friday and runs through Monday morning until 7a.
- Possible holiday call rotation depending on how the holidays fall during the assignment.
