Genesis is seeking an experienced, Full-Time, Certified Medical Assistant to work with our Urology team in a busy medical practice in The Woodlands area. Applicants must be dedicated to providing superior patient care, able to prioritize, organize and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
EMR Experience required.
Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
2-4 years Urology experience preferred
Surgery scheduling experience preferred
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) preferred
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately Rooms patients, obtains and records vital signs, patient history, and reason for seeking care.
Strong knowledge of phlebotomy, medication and injection procedures.
Ability to use various types of equipment for examination, catheterization and treatment procedures.
Current CPR is required
