What You Need to Know
Genesis Products is seeking an experienced 2nd Shift Maintenance Technician for our TFL wood processing manufacturing plant. The ideal candidate will be a highly skilled professional responsible for preserving the condition and functionality of equipment and premises in a high-performance industrial environment. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for:
- Performing highly skilled mechanical maintenance tasks
- Conducting electrical troubleshooting and equipment repairs
- Executing facility maintenance tasks
- Operating and maintaining complex industrial systems
- Performing preventative maintenance on processing equipment
- Observing and reporting needed repairs
- Maintaining accurate maintenance records
- Adhering to all safety and environmental guidelines
Qualifications and Skills
The ideal candidate should possess:
- Minimum 4 years of industrial maintenance experience
- Strong experience with high-pressure thermal oil press operations
- Proficiency with Siemens logic controllers and VFD systems (including Lenze)
- Comprehensive knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systems
- Ability to read and interpret electrical prints and machine diagrams
- Experience with electro-mechanical systems (motors, relays, gear boxes)
- Welding and fabrication skills
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic capabilities
- Excellent communication skills
- Basic MS Office proficiency
- Physical capability to lift heavy objects and work in various conditions
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
