What You Need to Know
Genesis Products is seeking a Manufacturing Associate to support material handling and other manufacturing operations in our wood panel processing plant. The ideal candidate will be responsible for:
- Material Handling: Assist in moving raw materials and finished goods manually or using simple equipment to support production workflows.
- Production Support: Help prepare materials for manufacturing processes, maintain supply inventory, and ensure production lines are loaded efficiently to minimize downtime.
- Simple Machine Operation: Operate basic machinery or tools as needed to support production tasks under supervision.
- Quality Checks: Perform basic inspections of materials and products during handling to ensure they meet company standards.
- Workspace Organization: Maintain clean and organized production areas by following company protocols for safety and cleanliness.
- Collaboration with Teams: Work closely with supervisors and coworkers to complete production goals efficiently while addressing any issues promptly.

- Material Handling Skills: Ability to safely handle raw materials and finished goods manually or with simple equipment.
- Manufacturing Knowledge: Familiarity with production workflows in a manufacturing environment, including material preparation and basic machine operation.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to identify discrepancies in inventory or materials during handling.
- Safety Awareness: Commitment to maintaining a safe workspace by adhering to safety protocols for equipment operation and material handling.
- Organizational Skills: Capability to keep production areas clean and organized while managing inventory efficiently.
