Primary Responsibility

• Performing plate truck operations on the railways
• Assisting with distributing materials along the railroad tracks
• Slide and align tie plates
• Cleaning and upkeep of tools
• Routine maintenance and service to equipment
• Other duties to assist on the railway as determined by the needs of the job
• Any other task assigned by management within your capabilities

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Able to lift to 75 lbs.
• Ability to work in all types of weather and environments
• Clear background as required by the railroad
• Clean driving record
• Willingness to travel out of town for extended period of time
