We are seeking a hardworking and safety-conscious Railroad Track Laborer to assist in the construction, maintenance, repair, and inspection of railroad tracks and related infrastructure. This role involves working outdoors in all weather conditions, using hand and power tools, and operating heavy equipment to ensure the safe and efficient movement of trains.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, inspect, maintain, and repair railroad tracks, ties, switches, and other track components.
- Align, level, and tamp track to ensure proper geometry.
- Remove and replace worn or damaged rails and ties using hydraulic jacks and hand tools.
- Clear vegetation and debris from tracks and right-of-way areas.
- Operate and maintain equipment such as spike drivers, tampers, tie inserters, and rail saws.
- Follow all safety regulations and work procedures in compliance with FRA and company standards.
- Communicate effectively with crew members and supervisors to coordinate tasks.
- Perform physically demanding labor in a variety of weather and environmental conditions.

Travel and work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience in construction, maintenance, or railroad work is a plus but not required.
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs and perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods.
- Willingness to travel and work irregular hours.
- Ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and physical exam.

Work Environment:
- Outdoor work in all weather conditions (rain, snow, heat, cold).
- Noisy environment with exposure to moving trains, equipment, and tools.
