Responsibilities :
- Underwrite excess construction casualty risks for businesses with up to $25M in revenue
- Manage excess liability layers up to $5M for construction-related accounts
- Develop and maintain relationships with 45 wholesale trading partners
- Produce new business while maintaining comprehensive risk assessment standards
- Analyze and evaluate complex construction risk profiles
- Prepare detailed underwriting submissions and risk evaluations
- Contribute to the development of underwriting guidelines specific to construction risks
- Support the implementation of the new in-house underwriting and policy management system
- Identify and pursue strategic market opportunities in the construction segment
- Provide thought leadership on construction risk trends and market dynamics
- Collaborate with internal teams to refine product offerings and risk appetite
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive underwriting documentation
- Support the company's vision of becoming a leading wholesale insurance organization
