Reporting directly to the Regional Vice President, this role offers a unique opportunity to shape and grow a substantial book of business while working with top-tier retail brokers.
This is an ideal role for a casualty expert with a dynamic personality, a passion for building relationships, and a proven track record in loss-sensitive underwriting or large broker relationships. The position offers significant growth potential, including immediate leadership responsibilities at the VP level.
Key Responsibilities :
- Underwrite and Manage Accounts
Focus on loss-sensitive casualty accounts across diverse industries, with flexibility to leverage niche expertise (e.g., healthcare, public entities, construction).
Cultivate relationships with major retail brokers, including Marsh, Willis, Aon, Lockton, and Gallagher, particularly in the Midwest region.
At the VP level, manage and mentor a junior underwriter on the team.
