We are seeking an Instrument Project Engineer to join the team of our established client in Baton Rouge, LA.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :
- BS or MS in Electrical Engineering (Other disciplines may be considered); PE license highly preferred.
- 8 years of experience on capital projects in oil & gas / refinery / petrochemical.
- Oversight and Execution of all Instrumentation deliverables on assigned project(s).
- Thorough knowledge of EPC work processes, cost control, scheduling and administrative practices, understanding project phases and associated required scope / deliverables.
- Significant experience in various phases of vendor selection and technical negotiation.
- Significant experience in E&I installation requirements; impact on construction.
- Advanced MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
