What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of Clinical Services position at Genesis Youth Crisis Center?
Candidate must have a master’s degree and LICSW
Have excellent verbal and written skills, leadership skills, time management skills, professionalism and self-motivated.
Primarily responsible for all clinical services being offered in our emergency shelter locations. Oversee all aspects of the Clinical Dept, assist in screening referrals to determine placement, provide guidance and assistance to all treatment staff ensuring that all licensing/programmatic requirements are met to provide the best possible care to the children and families that we serve, review and sign off on all treatment plans and other needed documentation.
The minimum requirements are:
Valid WV driver's license
21 years of age
Master's Degree with licensure in a human service field
Insurance and proper registration on vehicle
Pass a drug screen
Pass a criminal background check, no charges at all
Pass a CPS check, no abuse or neglect charges
Pass training for First Aid/CPR and TCI, be physically able to complete all.
