Responsibilities:
- Perform design, coding, debugging, testing, and troubleshooting throughout the application development process providing innovative and creative solutions in a collaborative manner under tight deadlines
- Build sophisticated and complex functionality to the Treasury business to be more effective in managing the client's liquidity
- Maintain high standard and follow best practices by re-factoring existing code to enhance readability, performance, and general structure
- Record of successful delivery of software applications as an individual and with a team
- Strong understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC), desire to implement continuous delivery and integration within the development life cycle, and understanding of Agile software development methodologies and principles
- Self-motivated, self-managed, team-player, action results-focused, has a high command of verbal and written English, and is able to clearly communicate design, architecture, implementations, and requirements
- Strong expertise and working experience in Python
- Knowledge of computer science data structures and algorithms
- Knowledge of ORM libraries like SQL alchemy, etc.
- Experience in databases (relational/document/etc.) including NoSQL databases
- Experience building distributed and scalable complex services as well as Restful services and robust micro services
- Experience with web services development and REST interfaces in Python
- Experience with Analytic reporting tools like Tableau
- Analytical skills to perform technical and functional analysis with strong communication skills
- Able work with business users involving complex requirements gathering and translating them into actionable items for developers (this includes quick prototyping)
- Experience working in Containers
- Experience in CICD, Jenkins, Git
- Experience working on high volume applications
- Experience working in Agile teams
- Experience working in regulatory projects
- Knowledge of Liquidity Reports like Fed5g, LCR, NSFR, CRD IV etc.
