Cyber Security Research Consultant

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Cyber Security Research Specialist with our client in the financial industry. This is a 12 month remote contract position.

Responsibilities:

• Consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Cyber Security Research, contributing to large-scale planning and execution
• Review and analyze multi-faceted cybersecurity challenges requiring in-depth evaluation of variable factors to create actionable solutions
• Represent the organization in confidential meetings with industry peers and public partnerships to maintain strong external relationships and advance security initiatives
• Lead or participate in the research, design, testing, and implementation of complex network security and protection technologies
• Review and analyze advanced incident response activities and investigate information security breaches, providing thorough analysis and recommendations
• Serve as a liaison between External Intelligence teams and internal peer teams, ensuring alignment and effective collaboration
• Create and deliver TEAR sheets for executive leadership, summarizing critical findings and insights
• Collaborate with peers, colleagues, and management to resolve issues and meet strategic goals

Requirements:

• 4 years of Cyber Security Research experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education
• Active US Top Secret Clearance with the Department of the Treasury (Non-Negotiable)
• Proven experience in computer network security and protection technologies
• Strong background in incident response and breach investigation
• Skilled in collaborating with external intelligence teams and building internal alignment
• Effective communication skills, particularly in creating executive-level summaries and reports

Pay Range: $52-$62
