Data Engineer and BI Professional

Genesis10 is seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to join our team as a GCP & BI Development specialist for a 6-month remote contract position. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing cutting-edge data solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Business Intelligence (BI) tools.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data systems and ensure seamless data flow. Additionally, you will analyze complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business decisions. Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement scalable data pipelines and architectures on GCP.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data systems and ensure seamless data flow.
• Analyze complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business decisions.
• Develop and maintain high-quality code using Python, SQL, and other relevant programming languages.
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver data-driven solutions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in data engineering, data science, or a related field.
• Extensive knowledge of GCP services, including BigQuery, Cloud Storage, and Cloud Data Fusion.
• Experience with data warehousing, ETL processes, and data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
• Strong understanding of database design principles, data modeling, and data governance.
