Responsibilities:
- Consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Software Engineering, contributing to large-scale planning efforts
- Review and analyze moderately complex Software Engineering challenges requiring an in-depth evaluation of variable factors
- Contribute to the resolution of technical issues and collaborate with others to meet Software Engineering deliverables while ensuring adherence to policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
- Work closely with client personnel in Software Engineering to support project objectives and deliver solutions
Required Qualifications
- 4 years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work, consulting experience, training, military experience, or education
- Proficiency in ETL/ELT and experience handling data structures through data pipelines for operational purposes
- Expertise in SQL, Python/Spark, and Data Pipelining Tools
- Strong background in designing and architecting data pipelines for reporting and other downstream applications using open-source software and cloud technologies
- Understanding of Databases, Delta Lake (Operational and Analytical Data Store), and reporting concepts to design cloud-based solutions
- Ability to interpret and work with code from legacy tools such as SSIS, Ab Initio, and SAS
- Strong critical thinking, adaptability, and problem-solving skills
- Experience with cloud platforms, with Google Cloud Platform preferred
