Responsibilities:
- Investigating issues in our trading stack using SQL to diagnose the loci of the issues and subsequently communicating with teams needed to fix issues as they arise
- Interpreting Business Requirement Documents (BRDs)
- Communicating with stakeholders to determine accuracy of written business procedures
- Communicating with clients to keep them abreast of development work
- Contributing to our automation codebase through development in Java/Python
- Keeping track of issues identified using JIRA and multiple databases (MYSQL/Oracle)
- BA in Business/Finance/Economics/Computer Science/Information Systems or related field
- A background in business, preferably from a major financial institution
- Intermediate SQL experience
- Intermediate to advanced coding in Java/Python or any other OOP
- Strong communication skills
- Financial knowledge
- Experience presenting results in a group setting to senior stakeholders
- CAT/OATS
- Knowledge of FIX protocol
