What are the responsibilities and job description for the DevOps Engineer - Azure Cloud position at Genesis10?
Genesis10 is currently seeking a DevOps Engineer- Azure Cloud with our client in the financial industry located in Brookfield, WI. This is a 12 month, hybrid, contract-to-hire position.
Responsibilities :
- Design, implement, and migrate to cloud solutions using Microsoft Azure
- Work closely with both IT and business units to understand their requirements and deliver solutions that meet their needs and expectations
- Responsible for providing leadership-level input on cloud projects, ensuring best practices, and providing technical mentoring to other developers and engineers
- Design cloud solutions using Azure services, such as Azure App Service, Azure Storage, Azure SQL Database, Azure Scale Sets, Azure VDI, etc.
- Implement and deploy cloud solutions using Terraform pipelines, PowerShell, CLI, or other tools
- Plan and execute the migration of on-premises systems to Azure
- Optimize and troubleshoot cloud solutions for performance, scalability, security, and reliability
- Establish monitoring and management capabilities for cloud resources using Azure policies, tags, alerts, dashboards, and logs
- Create virtual networks with efficient performance and security to handle workloads
- Provide technical leadership to developers

Compensation : Up to$130,000 per year based on experience, qualifications, and Education.
