Responsibilities:
- Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Database Engineering
- Review and analyze complex, multi-faceted, larger-scale, or longer-term Database Engineering challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented factors
- Contribute to the resolution of complex and multi-faceted situations requiring a solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that meet deliverables
- Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of Database Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, or education
- 8 years of experience working with ETL Informatica development
- 5 years of experience in ETL development of data pipelines/ETL for data ingestion, data preparation, data integration, data aggregation, and feature engineering
- 4 years of experience working with Microsoft SQL Server databases
- 5 years of experience migrating legacy data platforms to cloud and modern architecture.
- 4 years of Unix Shell scripting experience
- 3 years of experience with scheduling tools like Autosys, Control M
- 3 years of experience in version control and CI/CD: Git, GitHub, Jenkins
- 3 years of Agile experience and using collaboration tools like JIRA and Confluence
- Experience analyzing large data sets, identifying trends, and articulating findings when presenting to key business stakeholders
