Governance Project Manager

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Governance Project Manager with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC, Plano, TX and Pennington, NJ. This is a 12 month contract position.

Responsibilities:

• Help drive consistency of Single Process Inventory oversight, governance and execution
• Learn single process inventory tool to perform data reconciliation, monthly data discrepancy analysis and monthly tracking and reporting
• Stakeholder engagement and reviews
• Raise, monitor and help facilitate remediation of findings
• Ensure effective and efficient implementation of changes and perform risk assessments
• Help identify gaps and areas of improvements, resulting in recommendation for solution to help close the gaps
• Set up and host governance routines and own materials, reports, repository
• Define process for escalations and exception requests and partner with SMEs to help facilitate the development of remediation solutions
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, standards, and processes
• Support governance and oversight processes for managing alignment to strategic goals
• Project delivery across a matrixed organization
  
  

Requirements:

• Extensive experience with process governance and process execution
• Experience of delivering risk-focused projects and programs
• Experience of a large-scale organization, preferably Financial Services, demonstrating appropriate contextual knowledge
• Skills on process governance, refinement, and execution
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with senior levels of management
• Ability to express ideas verbally and in writing to effectively communicate with and influence teammates, technology partners, business leaders and executives
• Ability to think strategically and willing to learn and move fast and adapt quickly to change
• Excellent presentation skills (ppt and strong excel user)
