Information Security - Information Security Engineer 3 - Contingent

Genesis10 is currently seeking an Information Security Engineer with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC and Chandler, AZ. This is a 12 month contract position.

Responsibilities:

• Consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Information Security Engineering and contribute to large-scale planning related to Information Security Engineering deliverables
• Review and analyze moderately complex Information Security Engineering challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors
• Contribute to the resolution of moderately complex issues and consult with others to meet Information Security Engineering deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
• Collaborate with client personnel in Information Security Engineering
• Assess, design and implement solutions and oversight capabilities for data protection/data loss prevention
• Lead or participate in technical investigation of security related incidents and post incident digital forensics to identify causes and recommend future mitigation strategies
• Provide security consulting on for internal clients to ensure conformity with corporate information, security policy, and standards
• Design, document, and oversight a minimum viable baseline of security requirements and controls
  
  

Requirements:

• 4 years of Information Security Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education
• A broad set of security experiences including successful DLP techniques (and knowledge across the layers of security defense (Endpoint, Proxy, Infrastructure) to define and implement solutions
