New Journey, a Genesis10 company, is seeking a Mechanical Technician for a 12 month contract position with the potential for a contract extension or conversion.
Compensation: $21.50 per hour
The main function of a mechanical technician is to modify, test and repair machinery and equipment under direction of engineering staff or physical scientists. A mechanical technician helps engineers design, test, and manufacture industrial machinery, consumer products and other equipment.

Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or state equivalent required
- 2 years of related trade schooling or equivalent
- Conveyor experience
- Experience in working in a critical distribution site is a plus
- Team player, hard worker, good interpersonal skills, ability to communicate well in both oral and written reports
- Prior knowledge of working within a GMP environment is a plus.
- Understanding of BMS and CMMS systems
- Completion of written documentation is required.
- 5 years of related Bldg. maintenance experience preferred
- Prior experience maintaining large warehouse / distribution site desirable.
