Responsibilities:
- Participate in or provide support for low complexity initiatives within Loan Workout
- Review basic or tactical issues, policies, or procedures for which answers can be quickly obtained related to low-risk tasks and deliverables with narrower impact in Loan Workout
- Receive direction from supervisor and exercise judgment within defined parameters while developing understanding of function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
- Provide information to client personnel in Loan Workout
- Support the legal remedies team in collecting signatures required for discovery to pursue litigation to offset/collect balances for credit cards and loans
- Physically record wet signatures, scan and upload packets of signed legal documents to retention system
- Partner with up to 14 different law firms/legal partners to provide notifications of new daily uploads
- Ship out hard copies of documents to legal partners and destroy documents in accordance with compliance policy
Requirements:
- 6 months of Loan Workout or Commercial Lending experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education
- Legal administration/support experience
- Ability to combine documents in Adobe Reader
- User level experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and One Note
- Experience with shipping documents with FedEx
- Working knowledge of legal civil procedures
- Highly organized
- Strong time management skills (will be working with hundreds of time sensitive documents that come in weekly)
- Partnership skills - ability to work with Q/A team
Desired skills:
- 6 months of legal admin experience
- Hands on experience supporting paralegals, attorneys, or court systems
