Genesis10 is seeking a Product Analyst for a 12 month contract to hire position with a mortgage loan corporation located in McLean, VA. This is a hybrid position and requires being onsite Tuesday through Thursday.

Providing technical and strategic insights related to business/product issues and opportunities to align with the business/product vision. Primary interface between technology and a specific business product. Works with users/customers to resolve problems or recommend alternative methods to meet needs. Independently determines and develops approach to solutions.

Hiring Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Product Owner to write user stories and edit acceptance criteria, making sure each story aligns to the feature objective
- Proactively bring ideas to the table to increase value to our customers, recognizing roadblocks early, and presenting ideas and options to key partners
- Troubleshoot product questions and technical challenges
- Demo solution options, existing functionality, and new functionality in various business settings
- Understand and proactively utilize agile practices
- Use applications including Jira, Teams, Confluence, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, ServiceNow, Icertis, Salesforce
- Quickly responds and provides support to stakeholders for production issues and questions
- Completes administrative updates and changes in production
- Supports production releases by completing necessary steps part of the implementation plan and completes validations
- Supports user acceptance testing (UAT), development, and deployment support (including conducting manual testing, providing functional configuration, and attending after hours deployments)
- Ability to create concise material explaining complex topics to senior leadership and stakeholders
- Responsible for acting as the primary interface between technology infrastructure and specific business functional areas
- Identify business unit requirements, create project, and process specifications, coordinate with application, product, and project teams to ensure that projects are on schedule and within budget
- Qualified candidate will possess strong analytical skills and the ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously
- Build and grow relationships with internal business partners and offer creative and innovative solutions to a variety of requests and issues.
- Experience with access, SOX compliance requirements, audit, and deal flow processes are a plus, along with contracting processes and overall experience with business also a plus
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
- 3-5 years of work experience
- 3 years of related experience in change management and/or business operations.
- Knowledge and experience in the primary or secondary lending markets
- In depth understanding of system functionality highly desirable
- Agile product delivery experience, including requirements gathering, writing user stories, and using Jira technology
- Intermediate to advanced SQL experience
- In depth understanding of Microsoft Excel - Formatting, formulas, and macros
- A technical background (computer science degree/ certifications/ technical work experience) is highly desirable
- Understanding of end-to-end software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
- Ability to work outside of usual 9-5 hours (in addition to the normal hours). Average expected after hours work include:
- Application Deployment: 4x per year (4 hrs. each)
- Template updates: :2x per week (1 hr. each)
- Support for infrastructure changes: 4x per year (2 hrs. each)
