Project Manager -4 (PM with Capital Markets/Brokerage))

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Project Manager - Capital Markets/Brokerage with our client in the financial Industry located in Charlotte, NC . This is a 12 month contract position.

Responsibilities:

• Lead cross-functional project teams, managing all project lifecycle activities associated with high visibility programs or projects that are long-term, across one or more lines of business and carry a substantial impact to the relevant businesses (strong facilitation skills needed)
• Establish and manage matrixed project teams across the organization, including Technology, Operations, Legal, Compliance, Finance and other impacted partners
• Participate in program governance forums and share overall program health, issues, risks and dependencies when needed
• Drive delivery of all program deliverables including business case, requirements, project planning, testing, implementation, and closing
• Manage project family budgets/forecasting, schedules, to ensure optimal business results
• Create and deliver presentations to executive and senior management on program or project goals and plans, including progress reports
• Recognize and manage areas of change. Document internal & external impacts, and a plan for implementation & readiness
• Execute end to-end project management using the Enterprise Project Methodology, demonstrating ownership of the entire process from beginning to end
• Identify, analyze and manage risks, issues and interdependencies

Required Qualifications:

• 5 years of Project Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education
• Proven ability to lead, direct, and coach project managers on specific deliverables, ensuring successful outcomes
• Demonstrated expertise working in agile environments, adapting quickly to changing priorities and workflows
• Strong financial planning and reporting skills to manage budgets and provide accurate insights
• Proficiency with JIRA and Agile methodologies for effective project management and collaboration
• Advanced PowerPoint, communication, and presentation skills to convey complex information clearly and effectively
• Resilience and strong interpersonal skills ("thick skin") for working effectively in high-pressure trading environments
• Solid experience in capital markets and institutional brokerage, bringing valuable industry-specific insights

Pay Range: $60-70
