Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain and execute automated test scripts using automations tools such as TOSCA, Selenium
- Design and implement test cases and scenarios based on the requirements and specifications
- Conduct functional, regression and end to end testing
- Perform database testing to validate data integrity, consistency and accuracy
- Write and execute complex SQL queries to verify data in relational databases
- Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, developers and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and design comprehensive test plans
- Identify, document and track defects through JIRA
- Create, manage and execute test cases in test case management tools such as Qtest, Octane, etc.
- Run metrics and generate reports on defects and test cases in JIRA and Qtest
- Actively participate in agile/scrum routines and contribute to process improvements
- Understand the requirements and identify gaps
- Understand the high level design of different integration types such as file/database/API, etc.
- Ability to collaborate and work with multiple teams both onshore and offshore
- Minimum 5 years of experience in QA testing with strong background in automation and database testing
- Proficiency in using automation tools such as TOSCA and Selenium
- Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with relational databases
- Experience working in agile and scrum methodologies
- Experience working with test case management tools such as Octane and Qtest
- Experience with testing file/DB/API integrations
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with cloud based testing environments and CICD pipeline
- Familiarity with version controls systems like Git
- Familiarity with Unix
- QA engineer with experience in both manual and automation testing with a strong focus on database testing
