Responsibilities:
- Responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivery of defined deliverables with usually required engagement from multiple teams, such as a project or BAU items
- Key responsibilities include communicating the release objective, coordinating delivery, managing risks, ensuring compliance to standards, and providing end to end visibility to the health of the deliverables
- Ensure execution and delivery meets the client's expectations in terms of the quality and timelines
- Facilitate sync points across multiple organizations to enable delivery
- Understand risks and can our financial client controls necessary to mitigate
- Facilitate team planning ceremonies against release milestones
- Manage and coordinate assigned change from initiation to closure
- Coordinate interfaces between Change Management and other ITSM processes
- Coordinate planning, implementation, and verification activities with all change stakeholders
- Plan and runbook reviews with change stakeholders
- Stakeholder management
- Facilitate the triage of any issues found during release related activities
- Identify and escalate risks and concerns
- 7 years' experience as a release manager
- Release Management, Project Planning, Scrum Master, or Release Train Engineer working experience
- Tableau reporting skills
- Understanding of release/deployment components
- Ability to answer team Agile/waterfall framework questions
- Ability to understand big picture and connect all details
- Moderate to advanced Project Planning software skills (e.g. MS Project, Primavera, etc. - experience with critical path analysis, predecessor/successor relationships)
- Moderate to advanced meeting facilitation skills (being able to facilitate, drive, and redirect large scale meetings while working through a deliverable such as a project plan)
- Moderate exposure to Jira tools
- Moderate to advanced experience with Production "record of change” tools such as ITSM BMC Remedy or ServiceNow (Tasks, Configuration Item management, Relationships, etc.)
- Previous experience with Risk Management (identifying and escalating release related risks)
- Able to learn and understand the tools that must be used for the completion of the above job duties (e.g. Remedy, Cutover, MS Project, Jira, Release Manager Tool)
- Bachelor's Degree
- PMP Certification
- Familiarity with Project Management tools such as MS Project or Primavera
- Experience working in a financial industry
- Jira experience
- ITSM Remedy experience
