Genesis10 is currently looking for a Senior Program Manager to manage an IT Separation project for a digital banking client in Atlanta GA. This is a 6 month contract with likely to convert to perm. Role will start out in downtown Atlanta GA and then move to Sandy Springs GA mid 2025.

The Senior Program Manager will serve as a lead for the IT separation, ensuring a seamless and efficient division of IT systems, applications, and infrastructure across five critical workstreams: Core Applications, Boundary Applications, Workplace, Security, and Platforms. This position requires strategic oversight, cross-functional coordination, and technical expertise to deliver a complex separation program on time and within budget. The Senior Program Manager will work closely with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and technical teams to mitigate risks, maintain business continuity, and align with organizational goals. By driving the IT separation program, the Senior Program Manager will play a critical role in achieving strategic business objectives, ensuring the organization's IT infrastructure aligns with its independent operational goals. Key Responsibilities:
- Program Leadership: Define and manage the overarching strategy, roadmap, and execution plan for the IT separation initiative.
- Workstream Oversight: Provide strategic guidance and coordination across the following workstreams:
- Core Applications: Oversee separation of ERP systems, CRM tools, and other critical enterprise applications.
- Boundary Applications: Manage applications that interact with third parties, APIs, and integration points.
- Workplace: Direct migration and separation activities for identity and access management (WIAM), M365, SharePoint, laptops, global WAN, Zscaler, office LAN, and global DNS.
- Security: Ensure the design and implementation of separated security infrastructure, policies, and protocols.
- Platforms: Oversee separation of foundational platforms, including databases, middleware, and cloud services.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with executive leadership, IT teams, and business units to align separation activities with business priorities and objectives.
- Vendor Management: Coordinate with external vendors and service providers to ensure the timely delivery of services, tools, and solutions.
- Refine and implement governance frameworks to ensure alignment with strategic objectives, including oversight of program-level risks, dependencies, and resource allocation.
- Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with the IT separation process, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Change Management: Develop and execute communication plans to ensure stakeholder buy-in and smooth adoption of separated systems and processes.
- Performance Monitoring: Track progress against key milestones, deliverables, and budget, providing regular updates to leadership.
Required Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree required/Highly Preferred
- Proven experience managing large-scale IT separation or similar transformational programs.
- Strong understanding of enterprise IT systems, cloud platforms, security protocols, and workplace technologies.
- Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and workstreams effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, PgMP, ITIL, or Agile) are needed.
- Expertise in project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, JIRA) and collaboration platforms (e.g., Microsoft Teams, SharePoint), with the ability to guide and mentor others in their effective use.
