Genesis10 is seeking a Special Investigations Unit Specialist for a contract ending on December 31, 2024, and working with a client in Franklin, WI.
Compensation: $33.00-35.00 per hour (W2), depending on skills and experience level.
Summary:
Review, research, assess, and analyze events involving suspicious, potentially fraudulent, sanctioned, or other possibly illegal acts governed by state insurance fraud regulations. Conduct due diligence reviews for New Business, corporate investments, public-facing ventures, etc., and facilitate regulatory reporting to the appropriate agencies.

Responsibilities:
- Provide support and research including due diligence reviews for New Business applications, investment opportunities for Managed Investments, background research, and public record searches. Review applications from Life, DI and LTC Underwriting for potential fraud.
- Prepares basic level reports for state and federal level statutory requirements, regulatory requirements, and litigation activities; reviews and verifies information prior to release. Collaborates with senior investigators to pull together and review larger reports and additional requests for information.
- If necessary, assists in preparing, assembling, and developing investigative work product in conjunction with Federal, State and other governmental and private agencies as required by law.
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience in a similar field or Insurance Services
- Ability to independently manage a dynamic workload, demonstrating superior organizational and time management skills while consistently applying policies and procedures.
- The ability to work in a small team environment requiring continual cross-function support and collaboration.
