Office Manager ESF
Genesiscare in collaboration with Ear, Nose & Throat Specialist is seeking an Office Manager in beautiful Fort Myers, FL.
The Office Manager is responsible for overall management, operations, and development of medical practice at one of our three locations.
Join our team of Office Managers across the organization which supports the physician, physician assistants, audiologists, front desk, nursing, and ancillaries.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Carries out supervisory responsibilities to include hiring, providing training and guidance
- Promotes practice development by establishing relationships with referring physician
offices, networking, charitable and other local organizations
- Assumes responsibility for day-to-day facilities issues
- Maintains all physician records and ensures compliance with licensing requirements
- Ensures all proper authorizations are received to treat new and est. patients.
- Assumes responsibility for day-to-day staffing issues
- Keeps abreast of new or changing regulations regarding PPOs, HMOs, Medicare
- Coordinates collection of patient balances and assist centralized billing and collection
- Prepares monthly and quarterly quality assurance
- Reviews charges and cash receipts for variations and patterns
- Performs additional management and administrative duties as needed
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- 2 years in medical office management including staff supervision
- High School diploma or equivalent, college degree preferred.
