The Licensed Practical Nurse is responsible for delivering top-notch patient care and treatment in a correctional setting. This role involves administering routine and emergency medical care, treating acute and chronic illnesses and injuries, and ensuring the overall health and well-being of detainees.
To excel in this position, you should possess strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to delivering compassionate patient care. Current LPN licensure in the state of employment or ability to obtain license is required, along with the ability to obtain security clearance, including drug screen and criminal background check.
In addition to providing exceptional patient care, you will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records, documenting patient interactions, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
