Position Summary:
Call on existing customers to build brand loyalty, call existing customers to develop and obtain opportunities to advance repeat or new business development activities. Acts as a single point of contact for the customer. Candidate must have very superior organizational and communication skills to manage multiple customers and follow up calls every week.
Must have strong interpersonal skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks, and experience managing clerical responsibilities. Primary duties are to respond via email on all product line RFQ’s.
Sales Assistant Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Proactively email customers, respond to all price quote requests that come via inbound emails.
- Produce quote in ERP system and email customers.
- Process Purchase Orders into Sales Orders in system.
- Perform administrative communications (such as email correspondence and follow up phone calls) to existing clients.
- Attend scheduled sales meetings.
- Maintains assigned customer base by follow up calls to buyers. Follow up on quotes and obtain purchase orders (PO’S) from buyers for quoted items. Obtain target prices to price match quotes
Experience: Proven experience in sales admin or clerical role - Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively - Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in all work performed - Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) - Experience with office management software.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
Prefer at least 2 years of related B2B sales and customer service experience.
- Associate degree in business preferred and/or administrative support experience.
- Good verbal and written communication skills. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, CRM.
